A Re-Reading of an Irish Folktale

The Corpse Watcher contains several shamanic themes such as spirit travel, the otherworld, and rescuing of a sick soul. In this retelling the rescuer is also the rescued told in animated form through the lens of a late 1940's and 50's noir fiction.
